DAY 1: Zambezi Valley

Arrive in Lusaka and take a charter flight to the Zambezi Valley. Stay in a luxury safari camp on the banks of the Zambezi River. Elephant, buffalo, kudu, waterbuck, leopard, lion, and hyena are regularly seen on day and night drives. The camp offers spacious safari tents with en-suite facilities and hot and cold running water. Settle around the campfire and enjoy the sounds and magic of the African night under a vast starry sky.

DAY 2-4: Zambezi River Canoe & Bush Camp Safari

After an early breakfast, enjoy morning game walks and canoe safaris on the lower Zambezi, drifting through channels alive with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Explore the extraordinary Chifungulu channel and have a picnic lunch on the riverbank. Drift downstream to a rustic, exclusive riverside tented camp where your bags are transferred by vehicle.

Early morning game walks and afternoon/night drives offer a closer look at Africa’s smaller creatures and a deeper immersion in this unique ecosystem.

DAYS 5–6: South Luangwa Valley

After a game walk and breakfast, take a charter flight to Mfuwe, then transfer by open Land Rover to a traditional bush camp on the banks of the Manzi River. The region is rich with big game and vibrant birdlife. Enjoy easy-paced game walks and drives that allow time to notice the small wonders of the bush alongside tracking buffalo, lions, and elephants. Walking safaris and game drives form the core of this immersive safari experience.

DAYS 7–9: Luangwa River Confluence Area

Take a leisurely game drive to a secluded camp at the confluence of the Kampamba and Luangwa rivers. This tranquil location offers the perfect base for exploring the valley on foot and by vehicle. Expect plentiful wildlife sightings with a good mix of bush walks, game drives, and night drives. The camp’s remote setting ensures privacy and a deep connection with nature.

DAYS 10–11: Heart of South Luangwa National Park

After an early morning walk, transfer to a camp nestled in riverine forest with views over permanent waterholes. This area is renowned for superb walking safaris through unspoiled Mopane groves. Spend your days walking, game viewing, and enjoying night drives, maximizing your chances of spotting elusive nocturnal species.

DAY 12: Luxury Wildlife Lodge in Luangwa Valley

Conclude your safari at a beautiful lodge set in one of Africa’s richest wildlife areas, surrounded by ebony woodlands and open grass plains. Elephants frequently cross the nearby Luangwa River. After sundown, embark on a night drive hoping to catch a glimpse of the elusive leopards that inhabit this region.

DAY 13: Homeward Bound

Return transfer to Mfuwe International Airport for your flight to Lusaka.
